# Your first document

> Go from a short description to a finished proposal or invoice your client opens from a private link, in minutes.

  <Step title="Describe what you need">
    On **Home**, describe the document in **Describe the document you need**, choose **Proposal** or **Invoice**, then click **Generate with AI**.

    For example: "A proposal for a café brand identity, budget 8,000 SAR".

  <Step title="Review it in the editor">
    The AI writes the items, prices and details, then opens the document in the editor. Edit any text or price right on the page; every change saves automatically.
  </Step>

  <Step title="See it the way your client will">
    Click **Review** to see the document on a desktop, tablet or phone screen, the way your client will open it.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Send it to your client">
    Click **Share**, then choose **Send by email**, **Copy link** or **WhatsApp**. Your client opens the document from its link, no account needed.

<Warning>
  For proposals: your client only sees the **Accept proposal** button when the document's status is **Sent**. Sending by email changes the status automatically. If you copy the link or share it on WhatsApp, change the status to **Sent** yourself from the **Status** panel in the editor.

## Prefer to write it yourself?

Click **New document** in the sidebar and choose **From scratch**, then enter a **Project title** and click **Create document**. The editor opens with an empty document for you to fill in.

## Before you send your first document

Fill in your details once, and they appear on all your documents automatically:

* Your name, business name and logo in **Settings** under **Personal info**.
* Your bank accounts in **Settings** under **Financial**, so they appear on your invoices.
