# Account & Profile Setup

> Configure your business details, default bank accounts, tax information, and preferences.

Setting up your profile ensures that your professional details, contact info, and payment instructions appear automatically on every document you create.

## Business Details

1. Navigate to **Settings** from the bottom of the sidebar.
2. In the **Profile** tab, provide:
   * **Business Name or Personal Name**: Displayed in the document header as the sender.
   * **Email and Phone Number**: For client communication and inquiries.
   * **City and Country**: e.g., Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
   * **VAT or Freelance License Number**: Displayed prominently if registered for VAT or operating under a freelance certificate.

## Default Bank Accounts

You can save your primary banking information once so it populates into invoices automatically:

* Bank Name (e.g., Al Rajhi Bank, SNB, Alinma).
* Beneficiary Name.
* IBAN number starting with the country prefix (e.g., SA).

  Saving your IBAN in settings eliminates typos and speeds up client bank transfers.

## Language Preferences

Muqtarah offers a fully localized bilingual interface in Arabic and English. Switch languages at any time:

* Click the language toggle located in the sidebar or bottom control bar.
* Or go to **Settings** > **Preferences** to lock in your preferred default interface language.
